Mary, I can't encourage you enough to start your own group. It really has been such a delight. And if you're ever in Lancaster, please stop by and visit us!
I did The Artist’s Way this year for the first time, too! I so wish I lived in Lancaster so I could join the group! You’re right - it takes a lot of vulnerability and courage to start a club like that. I’m glad you’ve made that safe space for people to show up and share!
I really did! Like you, it had been on my radar for years, so it was satisfying to finally dive in after a fellow creative encouraged me to give it a go. I struggled with the Artist Dates, but am really trying to stay consistent with my Morning Pages. I think the biggest thing I took away from the course was the audacity to identify myself as an artist. It’s been a beautiful thing to fully step into that God-given identity, after lots of years of hiding and apologizing and second-guessing.
I wish I was close enough to join you! I have the book you are about to start so if you share your reading schedule, I will read along with you at least and dream of a group like this! ❤️
I'm loving what I'm hearing so far from this book, and I know I will need the encouragement from others to do the exercises. Looking forward to it!
So glad you're joining us, Lisa!!
I wish you did one online
I'll never say never, Christina!
I was hoping to have an online book club too. I read the Artist's Way years ago and loved it. Maybe I will start a group here in SC.
One day I plan to come visit you also. I love bookstores.

I absolutely adore you, Maile 🥰 , and this group has been the absolute best!! I just may bring my hairbrush to our next meeting 🤣.
Oh, Jenny, bring it. This might actually catapult our group to a whole, unexplored level!
😆

I wish you lived here, too, Bethany! And I'm eager to hear how your journey with The Artist's Way went? Did you enjoy it?

Dana, if only you were close by! We'll be reading one chapter a week starting June 7th so feel free to join us in spirit!
I’m so happy for you, my friend! And so jealous that I don’t live close enough to join you.
Can you share a little bit about how you structured the group time?
